After the Monday March 10th, protest at the Angus L. MacDonald Bridge at Wyse Rd. and Nantucket Ave in Dartmouth, NS., we invite everyone to join us for a feast, speeches and dancing from 2-5pm in the Thistle Room of the nearby Zatzman Sports Complex.
Our peaceful protest is about standing up for all Mi’kmaw rights and treaties, not just trade. All are welcome to attend, we want to hear your voices.
As you are probably aware the RCMP raided 13 Mi’kmaw truckhouses, 10 of which belonged to MRA members in the first half of the month of February. The MRA put out a press release, organized a mass meeting of over 100 people that adopted the following action plan, and is now preparing for a protest on March 10th.
